Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of all equipment and upkeep of the machines to ensure the smooth operation of the production lines.

· Performing Preventive maintenance of production lines as per the schedule.

· Provide technical assistance to Production teams, resolving any technical and Mechanical issues on the lines for Flour / Feed / Silo.

· Maintain minimum downtime.

· Ensure workspace is within the Company’s GMP and 5 S standards.

· Ensuring all Mechanical & pneumatic systems adhere to health and safety standards, upgrading equipment when necessary.

· Timely audit each machine and identify the probable failures and fix the same ASAP.

. Upkeep the records for each maintenance carried out.

. Improve Operations efficiency and productivity, including implementation of Cost reduction programs.

. Prepare Maintenance reports.

Desired Candidate Profile

· Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

· 5 Years in a similar role within the food industry.

· Thorough knowledge of the functioning of manufacturing machines & technical components.

· Thorough understanding of production equipment and process knowledge.

. Troubleshooting of faults in Pneumatic controlled / Mechanical machines.

. Thorough understanding of health and safety procedures for Mechanical equipment.

. Good technical knowledge of Electromechanical systems.

. Good analytical skills.

. Thorough understanding of Hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
